This global shortage of midwives affects communities everywhere limiting their access to safe, affordable, empowering childbirth and women's healthcare options. The A.C.N.M. Foundation is the only foundation specifically focused on supporting, documenting and promoting the unique and optimal contributions of midwives worldwide through research, recognition, scholarships and special initiatives.
