Mikela Kruger Joins Nossa Familia

Mikela at Cycle OregonIn January, Mikela Kruger joined the Nossa Familia team. She first became acquainted with Nossa at Cycle Oregon, then helped work and manage Nossa’s weekly sales at the Hollywood Farmers’ Market.

Mikela is a third-generation Portlander, attracted to the city’s consistent and dogged pursuit of sustainability on all fronts, including public funding for the arts. Overall, she believes Portland’s quality of life is the result of design and maintenance by its citizens, a quality that has become an enduring value for Portland residents and transplants alike.

A business student at Portland State University, Mikela is pursuing a degree in supply and logistics management. She plans to graduate in 2010. Her concentration on logistics and accounting, not to mention her sense of humor and ability to wield sarcasm, make her a valuable member of the Nossa team. Like the rest of us, she does a little bit of everything around here.

Mikela further brings much-needed ping-pong skills to the Nossa team, lighting a much-needed fire under Mitch to start learning the ways of table tennis. “And, let’s be honest, he said with a chuckle, “She helps keep the Lord of the Flies factor to a minimum around here.”
