As the weather heats up, it's nice to find an easy way to cool down. Try our super easy and delicious Iced Mocha recipe!

Using a 12-16oz. cup, fill the cup fairly full with ice cubes. Add fresh or chilled Nossa Familia coffee (1/2 way full), and top it off with chocolate milk. It's as easy as that! To add an artistic touch and impress your friends, throw in some coffee beans and enjoy these warm summer months!

Variations and Notes:
If you have an espresso maker, use a shot or two of espresso instead of brewed coffee. No chocolate milk? Add regular milk and chocolate syrup to your liking. If you plan on using freshly brewed hot coffee, we recommend you make it stronger than usual. It will naturally get slightly watered down as the ice melts.

Nossa Familia has been out there with many cyclists at a variety of events; from the family friendly Bike Scavenger Hunt and Cycle Oregon to the intense track racing at the Alpenrose Velodrome Challenge...

Cycle Oregon participants were treated to our family's coffee on the two-day 135 mile bicycle ride held at the end of June. The two-day non-profit ride inaugurated the Willamette Valley scenic bike way, linking Portland to Eugene via new and existing bike paths and low traffic country roads. Augusto, of Nossa Familia, participated in the ride on his tandem bicycle with a cousin who was visiting from Brazil. The ride was very scenic. The Cycle Oregon crew really puts on a superb event with great food and entertainment to top it off.

At the Alpenrose Velodrome Challange, Nossa Familia was serving our specialty iced mochas to national caliber athletes participating in the races as well as to the hundreds of spectators that went out to the track to watch many records being broken. (Probably by athletes that were fueled by Nossa Familia :) ).
