Sponsor of Reach The Beach
When spring arrives, all roads lead to the beach, which may be why the 16th annual Reach The Beach Clean Air Bicycle Challenge event will have over 2,000 participants from all rides of life! Some will be slow, some will be race-trained veterans, and some will ride only on certain Sundays. But all will have two things in common - they will all head to picturesque Pacific City on May 20th and they will be pedaling for a good cause. Nossa Familia Coffee will be there - helping fuel a great cause and along with all the riders, will help raise money for the American Lung Association of Oregon.
The five course options (26 - 103 miles) from four starting points assure that all riders get exactly what they want. Superb organization, beautiful routes, catered ‘aid’ stations, and a magnificent sunset beach party make Reach the Beach as always, one of Oregon’s premier cycling events.
Nossa Familia Coffee has donated coffee for each starting point and will be selling espresso's, lattes, and mocha's at the Portland starting area and in Pacific City at the finish line. So skip your morning run to Starbucks and help support a good cause. We will be donating 25% of our sales to the American Lung Association of Oregon.
This benefit ride for the American Lung Association of Oregon is great training for STP: Seattle to Portland (July 15, 16) and Cycle Oregon (September 9 - 16). Proceeds help to prevent and cure lung disease and promote lung health through education, advocacy, and research.
To be a part of this great Oregon tradition, each rider pays a low registration fee and turns in at least $50.00 in donations (by donating to your self or by having friends and family donate to you) to the ALA of Oregon office by May 15, 2006. Of course, you can always register the day of the event at the start location. Need help collecting donations? Go to our fundraising page for effective tips.
